BEES ENJOY FLOWERING, WE ENJOY FLYING THEM

Nature is slowly coming back to life after the winter. So are our bees, which we introduced to Foxconn Slovakia last year.

“The bee colonies are doing well after their first season at Foxconn. They have survived the winter in good condition. If the colony is well fed and cared for, it will hibernate even in a harsh winter. The first spring flights begin as soon as the temperature in the shade exceeds 10°C. The care of colonies in spring is extremely important for their success in the next season. The stock in the hive, wort and pollen deposits are checked and the beekeeper must react accordingly,” explains Foxconn beekeeper Pavol Lehoťák.

Another beekeeping project is being developed by the Educational Apiary in Zobor, which we support. The apiary was recently awarded the PONITRIE Regional Product Certificate. The next stage of the irrigation system is being completed to be ready for the summer. Beekeeper Rudolf Kotrusz is already looking forward to the first planned school trips from Nitra. In addition, the small apiary that has grown up there will soon offer the possibility of day and night stays.

We support the protection of bees because we know what an important role these inconspicuous creatures play in our ecosystem. We want our common future to continue to be green. 💚
