Certificates for students on practise

As part of the cooperation program with secondary schools and universities, we welcomed secondary school students in the current school year, who are completing the year-round practical training at Foxconn. They even got their half-year certificates right at our premises.

Currently we have students from two secondary schools: Secondary Technical School of Engineering in Vráble and Secondary Industrial School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Nitra.

At the end of January we welcomed the director Mr. Jozef Gerhat and the deputy director Mrs. Janka Potocna from the Nitra industrial school. They came to hand over the half year certificates to the students who practice in our company.

What the students like the most is the versatile work of line technicians. “We have also worked with PC and testing, but the most interesting thing for us was repairing the panel,” says Benjamin and Adrian from school in Vráble. “At school, they teach us the basics of practice and a lot of theory that cannot be applied so much. Here we have learned much more from the practical part. We see how things work together and we can try it out.”

Jakub and David from the school in Nitra were mostly amuzed by the programming and operation of robots. “We really like the approach of our superiors who are dedicated to us. We have a chance to see how the robots work and we are also explained in detail. Practice itself is useful because we see things we are learning about, respectively even what we do not learn about, we see how it works.”
