Foxconn donated 10,000 safety masks to Nitra hospitals

Foxconn Slovakia donated 10,000 medical safety masks to two Nitra hospitals: the Faculty Hospital in Nitra and the Specialized Hospital of St. Svorad Zobor. The producer of consumer electronics wanted to express his gratitude to all healthcare workers for their commitment and dedication.
Foxconn started distributing safety face masks for its own employees more than a month ago, as wearing masks is mandatory throughout the company’s premises as well as in company bus transport. The third wave of distribution of masks for all employees is currently underway and more will follow.
A major Slovak manufacturer has implemented a number of measures to protect the health of its employees: from measuring the temperature at the entrance of the company to all employees, through intensive disinfection up to contactless handover of materials and shipments.
Foxconn Slovakia started to take measures against coronavirus before it was ordered by the state authorities, and their scope was always wider and in advance of the requirements of the government or the Central Crisis Staff.
