Industry Revue: How Smart Industry helps business

In what area will the use of Smart Industry principles bring first measurable results in the operation and business of Slovak companies?
Industry Revue magazine wanted answer to this question from leaders of the most important companies in Slovakia. The magazine was interested in areas, where the results will appear as first: whether in production processes, labor productivity or in automation of production process operations, especially in robotics. Smart Industry influence is also expected in logistics, distribution, maintenance and administrative activities.
Foxconn Slovakia replied by CFO Ľubomír Sommer, who said: “We are currently facing a new phenomenon – a shortage of production workers, and therefore the optics of our view on automation and Smart Industry projects is changing. It’s no longer just a classic effort to produce more and faster, but in certain situations it is sufficient if such a new solution at least fully replaces the missing human worker with the same efficiency. ”
