SUCCESSFUL FOXCONN GREEN BIKE TEAM IN NITRA

In June, we held a cycling challenge at Foxconn for employees to swap their cars for bicycles and try to ride as many kilometres as possible in the Bike to Work competition. We are committed to using green transport.
And our colleagues have put everything into it, especially their green hearts. 💚💚💚

As in previous years, they were the stars of the town. Marek Hattas – the mayor of Nitra, awarded the best individuals and teams on the main square on Sunday.
It is no coincidence that we have been scoring points and making it to the podium in the Bike to Work competition for several years in a row.

💚 We may have a blue logo, but we have green hearts. That is why our Foxconn Cycling Team sees a green future:
🥈 Juraj Cangár and 🥉 Ján Račka excelled in the individual category, covering almost 1900 kilometres between them.
🥇 The Only Sons team travelled the most kilometres (3200 km) and 🥉 came third in the number of recorded bike rides (140 rides).
🥉 The Soul Riders team cycled more than 1800 km and won the bronze medal for the number of kilometres cycled in the city of Nitra.

But what did we achieve together?
🚴🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ we cycled more than 6,600 kilometres, saving almost 1,700 kilograms of CO2.
At Foxconn, we believe that such activities are not just about the number of kilometres driven, but more importantly about trading in your car for a bike.
